Lew Boyd Dance Tonight in Battle Creek

Keep warm and have fun tonight at the Kool Family Center, (formerly Burnham Brook). Come on out and dance and listen to the "Lew Boyd Band" at 7pm.

The band will feature numbers by Benny Goodman, featuring George Pendill on clarinet. Vicky Lynn will sing favorites from Martha Tilton, Peggy Lee, Natalie Cole, and Frank Sinatra.

Saxophonist Tim Collins will be featured on another Hoagy Carmichael ballad, "The Nearness of You" and Eric Campbell will will play a nice arrangement of "My Foolish Hear t" on trumpet. And, of course, for the April dance, the band will do Count Basie's "April in Paris."

Swing dance to Battle Creek composer Sy Oliver's "Opus 1", and you'll have a chance to waltz, tango and cha-cha too!
