Light Rail Ahead of Schedule In Detroit

Detroit’s first streetcar, in their new light rail system is on its way to town. Officials with M-1 Rail say the QLINE streetcar is expected on Wednesday, two months ahead of schedule. Chief Operating Officer Paul Childs says final assembly and mechanical checks will be completed over the next few weeks. Passenger operations are expected to begin in spring.
