The Detroit Lions drafted Ohio State offensive tackle Taylor Decker with the 16th overall pick.  The 2015 Big Ten lineman of the year should help a Lions unit that allowed the 10th-most sacks and had the league's worst run game last year.  Decker is expected to start at right tackle opposite Riley Reiff.   The Lions have 9 picks left in the three-day draft.

The Tennessee Titans have selected Michigan State offensive tackle Jack Conklin with the eighth pick overall after trading up with the Cleveland Browns.  The Titans hope Conklin will give them better protection for quarterback Marcus Mariota.

The Rams have used the No. 1 selection in the NFL draft to take California's Jared Goff.

The Eagles picked Carson Wentz of North Dakota State with the No. 2 choice.

The Chargers took Ohio State defensive end Joey Bosa with the third selection.

Dallas also went with OSU running back Ezekiel Elliott for the number 4 pick.

Offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil was supposed to go as high as #3 in the draft . . . but he ended up falling to the Miami Dolphins at #13.  Just 13 minutes before the draft was supposed to start, a video was posted on Tunsil's Twitter account showing him smoking a BONG out of a gas mask.  Both the video and the account were deleted shortly afterward.
