The Michigan Department of Transportation plans to begin roadwork on M-66 between Glenn Cross Road and I-94 today (Monday 4/27).

The one-mile section will be repaved. Also included in the project are new signs and a guard rail. Traffic flow will be maintained by one open lane in each direction while work goes on.

The project is expected to be completed in June. The MDOT 2015 Road Repair map lists it as number 50 on some 70-plus projects happening this year outside of the Detroit and Grand Rapids city limits.

MDOT offers the MI Drive mobile app available for download in the App Store or on Google Play.
