Two Battle Creek men are charged armed robbery after they allegedly robbed the Macy’s store at knifepoint.  Battle Creek Police were called to Lakeview Square Mall on Monday morning just before 11 after an employee was threatened with a knife after confronting the 20 year-old men.  The employee was not injured. Sgt. Ken Millikin says both fled the store with stolen merchandise. He says both suspects ran across the parking lot toward Beckley Road.

A few minutes later, a Battle Creek officer saw the suspects running along the back side of an apartment complex on Minges Creek Place. Both were arrested and caught with the merchandise, along with 3 knives.  Police interviews the pair and found them a room at the Calhoun County Jail.
