Man Arrested In Connection With Homer Woman’s Death

A Homer woman has been found dead and her boyfriend is being held for questioning.

Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputies say they were asked to track down 44-year-old Amy Weinski after her car was found burned in Mt. Morris Township.

Deputies went to the woman’s home on 26 Mile Road but found no sign of her; her 45-year-old boyfriend was found in Calhoun County and arrested.

Investigators say Weinski’s body was found in the Flint River in Genesee County Monday night.
