A man suspected in a double homicide and child abduction has been caught in Colorado.  24-year-old Alez Perez is believed to have been involved in the double homicide of his children’s mother and another man in Coloma.

The Michigan State Police responded to the home near M-63 and Park Street in Berrien County around 11:30 last night, the site of the murders.  Authorities then issued an Amber Alert around 2am this morning, believing that Alez Perez had abducted his two children, 4-year-old Nova Perez and 3-year-old Luna Perez.

The girls were found safely with Perez in Clear Creek, Colorado around 3am.  Perez was arrested and the children are unharmed in protective custody.
