Carewell Services Southwest, formerly the Region 3B Area Agency on Aging, plans sessions Wednesday, March 22, 2017 to help seniors and their caregivers avoid identity theft.

The events will be hosted by Ganton Senior Communities, one at 1:30 p.m. and one at 3:00 p.m. An RSVP at 269-969-8900 (ask for Alyssa) or by email at a.jones@gantonsc.com is requested.

Karla Fales, Carewell Services executive director, tells 95.3 WBCK the event is particularly focused on seniors, who can be particularly vulnerable. She also said some seniors think if they are not online they are not vulnerable to identity theft, but that is untrue.
