Marine City Titanic Memorial

A group of organizers are bringing a piece of the Titanic to Michigan. According to the Times Herald, The Great Lakes Titanic Connection is set to unveil a Titanic memorial in May, honoring 69 Michiganders who died when the ship sank, in 1912. City approval was given for the memorial, in Marine City, in 2015. Since that time, the group has raised $6500 to pay for the memorial.
