Sheriff’s Deputies in Calhoun County say a man is in the hospital with serious injuries after he crashed his car into a house early Sunday.

It happened shortly before 2:30 a.m. on Homer Road near B Drive South.

Investigators say the 21-year-old Marshall man took a curve too fast, lost control, and hit a house.

The driver wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car; he was airlifted to Kalamazoo for treatment.

Speed and alcohol are suspected as factors contributing to the crash.
