MDOT Talks Plows, Salt [Audio]

West Michiganders are already getting re-acquainted with winter driving, and Thanksgiving hasn't even arrived yet. Nevertheless, the Michigan Department of Transportation is reminding motorists about the ins and outs of dealing with wintry conditions, as well as how to deal with plow trucks that might be near you when you're navigating snowy roads.

Nick Schirippa, spokesperson for the MDOT Southwest Region - which includes Calhoun and the several counties in southwest Michigan - also discussed salt and what appears to be less use of it during his appearance Tuesday on The Richard Piet Show.
