Meijer Athlete of the Week Kendall Latshaw

This week's Meijer Athlete of the Week is the Harper Beavers defensive specialist, senior libero Kendall Latshaw.  

Latshaw made 20 digs in Harper Creek's three-game sweep of Paw Paw in the Regional Semifinals Tuesday, and 15 digs in each of the two district games. She contributed with 39 total digs in three games in the I-8's end of season tournament. Congratulations Kendall!

For most of the season, the Harper Creek Beavers volleyball team has gone unnoticed while running away with the inaugural Interstate 8 title this season. A great season and lots of recent momentum have driven them to the Class B Regional Finals against Buchanan. While the spikers get the big hits, the defense, led by Kendall Latshaw, has really made the difference for this year’s Harper Creek team.
