Can you believe it!  Michigan has the 6th highest average for in-state tuition and fees for U.S. public four year colleges and universities in the nation.

According to a survey by the College Board, Michigan's average cost of in-state tuition and fees is $11,600 for the 2013-2014 academic year.

New Hampshire believe it or not was the highest at $14,665 and Wyoming the lowest at $4,404 in in-state tuition and fees.  The average in the United States was $8,893 again for the 2013-2014 academic year.
