Michigan budget keeps going up up up

Does not matter what Party is in power, the Democrats or the Republicans they just keep spending more and more of our money.

The Michigan Capitol Confidential news site is informing us that:

Michigan's state budget for the 2018-19 fiscal year that begins Oct. 1 will make it nine state budgets in a row that will spend more dollars raised from state taxpayers. Since the 2009-10 fiscal year, state spending supported by state revenue sources (i.e., Michigan taxpayers) will have risen from $25.2 billion to $33.7 billion in 2018-19.

That means under Governor Snyder and the Republicans in the House and Senate they increased taxpayer spending by 34%.  Over those 8 years inflation has been approximately 2%, that would mean an increase of 16% would have been acceptable to keep up with inflation.  Why did they increase spending by an additional 18%, where did our tax dollars go

Did your pay or spending increase 34% in the last 8 years.

If neither party is serious enough about our spending problem then God help us all.
