The Detroit News is reporting that the Democrats running for governor of the state of Michigan are backing a $15 minimum wage effort.

According to the article former state Senate Minority Leader Gretchen Whitmer, former Detroit health director Abdul El-Sayed and entrepreneur Shri Thanedar all agree that a $15 an hour minimum wage policy would be a great policy for Michigan.

I have one simple question and that is do you pay everyone who is working for you or working on your campaign at least $15 an hour?

Once that question is answered and confirmed we can then move on to the pro’s and con’s of a $15 minimum wage.
