Great news once again for the state of Michigan.

Michigan’s Department of Technology, Management and Budget released their new unemployment numbers for the month of September and you would have thought they could not have been better but they are.

Michigan’s unemployment number for the month of September dropped a tenth of a percentage point from 4.1% to 4%.

Jason Palmer, Michigan’s Director of Bureau of Labor Market Information and Strategic Initiatives stated:

the state’s unemployment rate has fallen by seven-tenths of a percentage point since the beginning of the 2018 while payroll jobs have risen consistently throughout the year.

For the longest time we have been told that the United States believes that a 5% unemployment rate is what they consider full employment.  Well I wonder what they consider a 4% rate to be.

As I have been saying on my radio program, look past all the petty fighting that is happening in Washington and around the states and recognize all the good things that are happening around you.  Are you friends, neighbors and associates all doing better in this economy or at least not so worried about losing a job, that is a huge positive.  Once you realize that you can trace back to the policies that are generating this great economic news and determine which parties’ candidates you should vote for this fall.

Let’s keep the good news rockin and rollin and vote for the policies which means the party which are helping us create this great news.
