A dormant elementary school library in Jackson is receiving an upgrade. According to the Associated Press, a $5,000 grant from the Michigan International Speedway has been donated for the library, which was previously only used for faculty meetings and storage. With the grant money, the Frost Elementary library has been further developed into a makerspace featuring Legos, K’Nex, a bead bracelet station and other creative activities.
