Michigan’s 21st Century Job Fund

I will be interviewing James M. Hohman  Assistant Director of Fiscal Policy at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy, in the 11 o’clock hour on today’s Live with Renk Show.

James and I will talk about Michigan's 21st Century Jobs Fund which was an attempt to stimulate the economy during Michigan's 2000s recession. It was what Gov. Granholm was referencing when she promised its results would blow us away.

It was started in 2005 and was to be funded through 2015.  James and the Mackinac Center for Public Policy researched it effectiveness and have come out with a new report stating their findings.
