Miles For Memories Saturday at 9am in Battle Creek

WEATHER UPDATE: The event has moved a few blocks over, to inside Full Blast, on Hamlin Avenue. Come on down to enjoy music and movement and meet researchers. Activities still start at 9am.

Miles for Memories is the Battle Creek effort to help individuals and families suffering from dementia. The goal of the event is to encourage movement activities to raise awareness and funds in order change the face of dementia in a fun and festive environment. Placement medals will be given out this year by age and gender categories.

Miles For Memories will raise funds to support local programs ranging from the patient to the caregiver. Also, 20% of the funds raised each year will go to support dementia research.

The Tailgate party for tonight is still scheduled to be outside.It's 6:30pm-10:30pm tonight at Festival Market Square.
