More Tests Needed In Investigation Of Child’s Death

Authorities say further testing is needed following an autopsy to determine the cause of a 20-month-old child’s death.

Athena Ramey died Friday, the day after emergency crews were called to her mother’s workplace in Fredonia Township.

Marshall Police investigators say they believe the child’s injuries occurred at a residence in Marshall.

The case is being handled by a Homicide Task Force involving multiple Police agencies.
