A new drug may be headed to Michigan school districts. According to the Associated Press, a package of bills advancing in the Michigan Legislature would allow school districts to stock a drug that can reverse an opioid overdose. The legislation won unanimous approval in the Senate, last week. If a district decides to stock the drug Naloxone, it would have to train at least two employees to administer the drug.
