New CSC Charges Against Former Emmett Township Officer

An Emmett Township Public Safety officer accused of criminal sexual conduct in Calhoun County is now facing new charges in Kalamazoo.

Troy Estree was arraigned Wednesday in Kalamazoo County on three more CSC charges. Estree, who remains on unpaid leave from the department, received three more counts of criminal sexual conduct after he allegedly forced his 33-year-old niece to have sex with him after giving her alcohol at a hot tub club in Kalamazoo last month.

Investigators stated the incident occurred while he was out on bond from the several CSC counts he still faces in Calhoun County.
