New information in a series of incidents on Southwestern Michigan highways has police forces working to uncover the cause.

Since July 29th, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office and the Michigan State Police received reports of “unknown projectiles” striking vehicles travelling on I-94 and I-69 in Calhoun and Branch Counties.

As the agencies looked further into the incidents which occurred between July 29th and August 21st, lab testing revealed that some of the vehicles had likely been shot at.  No injuries have been reported as of yet.

If you have any information regarding the case, you are asked to please contact Silent Observer at 269-781-9700.
