A man from New Jersey was arrested in Calhoun County last night, following a lengthy police chase.

Around 11:45pm Tuesday, Calhoun County Sheriff's Deputies received a tip from the MSP that they were in pursuit of a vehicle that had been in a wreck on M60, and fled from authorities westbound.

Calhoun County Sheriff's Deputies laid stop sticks in the path of the vehicle near Homer, but the driver swerved to avoid them.  The pursuit continued westbound, before the vehicle hit stop sticks on M60 near Old US 27.  Deputies then managed to stop the vehicle on M60 near 13 Mile Road in Tekonsha Township.

The driver, a 40-year-old from Fairlawn, New Jersey, struggled with authorities before being taken in to custody.  He was arrested for Fleeing and Eluding, and taken back to Jackson County.  He also could face charges of Resisting and Obstructing in Calhoun County.
