Irony manifests itself in many different ways. Thursday, it's through smoking - and Reynolds American Inc., makers of Camel cigarettes - which announced a new smoking policy for its employees this week. Okay, so it's not an out-and-out smoke-out, but the company is advancing to the 20th Century, anyway, by designating smoking areas for employees in their office complex. Up until now, employees could smoke at their desks.

I think any way you look at it, this can be construed as an admission - even a slight one - that cigarette smoking is bad for your health. Let's not get too excited though; after all, they're still crankin' out those Camels.
