Nine Year Old Hat Banned

Apparently an elementary school in California believes the words “Make America Great Again” are too frightening for the children at their school.

A local ABC news affiliate abc60.com is reporting that a nine year old boy wore his “Make America Great Again” Trump hat to school, and was told by the vice principal that the hat was causing a safety concern.

A “Make America Great Again” hat is causing a safety concern, really.  What kind of children go to this school?

The 9 year old boy was quoted in the article stating:

"The vice principal came up to me and told me to take my hat off because it brings negative attention from other students. And I said no a few times and then the principal told me again and I still said no and refused. It’s my favorite hat. The First Amendment says I can wear my hat.”

By the way, students at Powers-Ginsburg Elementary School are normally allowed to wear hats.

The school district cited the need to maintain a “safe learning environment” in a statement explaining the decision to ban the “Make America Great Again” hat.

Can anyone explain to me why the words “Make America Great Again” frightens anyone?  What are they so frightened about? Do they not want to make America Great Again, or do their parents now believe they may actually have to go out and find a job and work for a living?

Another interesting part about this story, is the school’s website claims it does not discriminate on the basis of “political affiliation.”

Oh really!  So does that mean you just discriminate against the words “Make America Great Again”?

Today’s Democrat party and their ideologue is poisoning the minds of these young children.  They are teaching these children to hate and be afraid of just about everything, except big daddy and mommy government.

It is time to put a stop to this, and elect adults as leaders, not frightened teenagers.
