Follow-up tests on the Kalamazoo River have failed to turn up more DNA from Asian Carp.

Earlier tests from July showed traces of DNA from the invasive fish in the river near Allegan.

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources joined the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service a few weeks ago to collect more samples.  None of the 200 new samples showed signs of Asian Carp, but the DNR said they will test again after the winter.
