No Injuries In Battle Creek Apartment Fire

Investigators say a faulty furnace might have been the cause of a fire that damaged several apartments in Battle Creek yesterday.

The fire was discovered shortly after 11:30 in the morning in an apartment building on Parkway Drive.

The flames were mainly confined to the apartment where the fire started but others were damaged by smoke and water.

No injuries were reported.
