Oberon beer is taking its fame south of the border... the Indiana border. On August 4th, the 'Oberun 5K' will be held in Indianapolis. It's a brand new event, with love from Kalamazoo, as participants will make the jog or walk from the starting line to the finish line at Bell's Beer Garden to enjoy an ice cold Oberon beer. And Bell's famous summer ale isn't the only product getting in on the action. Runners who finish the Oberun 5K will be awarded the 'Two Hearted Twosome' finisher's medal.

After the race, participants can hang around for brews, live music and yard game along with food trucks. There will be an official Oberun 5K after party when the beer garden closes down at another local Indy watering hole to keep the party going all night long. Proceeds from the event will go to benefit Gleaner's Food Bank which has a partnership with Bell's. A similar event is being held on July 20th in Ypsilanti.
