One Dead After Rear-End Collision in St. Joseph County
US-131 was shut down for several hours last night while authorities worked to clean up a two-vehicle crash that left one man dead.
Around 7pm Monday, a distracted driver rear-ended a sedan, on US-131 near M-216. A back seat passenger in that sedan, 26-year-old David Banks Jr, was killed in the crash.
Authorities continue to investigate, and the distracted driver could be facing charges.
