Oshtemo Homeowner Injured In Armed Robbery

Authorities in Kalamazoo are looking for a suspect after an attempted home invasion early Friday morning.

Around 4:30am, Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 5500 block of Minuteman Circle in Oshtemo Township.  At the scene, deputies found the male victim with minor stab wounds.

The victim told investigators that he answered the door to find a man with a knife, who then attempted to force entry.  The victim fought back, and suffered minor cuts before the suspect fled.

Authorities brought in a K-9 unit to track the suspect, but nothing was turned up.  If you have any information about this incident, contact the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office or Silent Observer.
