Party Store In Springfield Robbed At Gunpoint

A convenience store in Springfield was held up at gun point last night.

Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene at the M&M Party Store on Goguac Street at around 9:15.

The clerk said a man armed with a rifle walked into the store and demanded the cash from the register.  A K-9 team failed to find the robber.

The man is described as standing around 6’3” tall, with a heavy build; he was wearing camouflage pants, white tennis shoes, gloves and had a scarf covering his head and face.
