Pedestrian Hit by Car in Pennfield

Sheriff’s Deputies say a Battle Creek man was seriously hurt when he was hit by a car in Pennfield yesterday.  It happened a little after Noon on Morgan Road near East Avenue.  Investigators say a 32-year-old Davison man was eastbound on Morgan when he lost control, crossed the centerline and ran over the 24-year-old Battle Creek man before the car hit some trees and rolled over.  The Battle Creek man is in the hospital with serious injuries.  The driver was taken to the Calhoun County Jail on suspicion of Reckless Driving Causing Serious Injury.
