Plane Crashes At W.K.Kellogg Airport In Battle Creek

One person has been killed in a plane crash at W.K. Kellogg Airport, in Battle Creek.

News Channel 3 reports that the crash occurred around 8:20 pm Thursday evening and involved a small plane with a single occupant.

Witnesses say that the experimental craft was practicing take-offs and landings, when the crash happened.

Investigators are in route to Battle Creek to investigate and the airport will remain closed while the investigation takes place.
