The Detroit Zoo will soon be getting a new resident. Over this weekend, according to the Associated Press, a 29 year old polar bear is expected to arrive from Indianapolis Zoo. The zoo recently announced that its bear exhibit, which opened in 1988, will be permanently closing. The bear, named Tundra is making its way to the Detroit Zoo, in the Detroit suburb of Royal Oak. Tundra’s public debut is expected sometime next week.
