A surviving ex-wife, in western Michigan believes that a parrot is repeating something said just before a fatal shooting in 2015. Not surprisingly, a prosecutor is downplaying whether it could be used in court. Newaygo County Prosecutor Robert Springstead told the Associated Press on Monday that he “highly doubts that there is any precedent,” that what’s repeated by a parrot is used as evidence. He also claims that he hasn’t heard the parrot actually say the alleged phrase.
