Do these people ever separate politics from anything in their lives?

Now the open border, amnesty for all, law enforcement haters protested the opening ceremony of Grand Rapids ArtPrize 10 at Rosa Parks Circle.

What does art have to do with open borders, amnesty for all and law enforcement haters, I have no idea.  You are going to have to ask the people with so much hate in their hearts and minds who protested the art event.

Mlive reported that these are the same people who have on many occasions disrupted the Kent County commission meetings.

They are apparently upset that Kent County Jails have a contract with the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency to house illegal aliens who have broken our laws and have been “flagged”.

One of the agitators who apparently felt he could speak on behave of the other agitators, Ryan Hagerman, explained that their group of agitators decided to protest the ArtPrize event because the Waters Building is in downtown Grand Rapids.  Why do they hate Waters building, because has an office for the U.S. Customs Service.

He was quoted in the article stating:

We want ArtPrize to recognize that by operating in that building, they are also complicit with Kent County

Can these people not bring everything into their politics of hate, fear and aggression?

According to a statement of ArtPrize leaders issued Wednesday:

This year ArtPrize elected to hold much of our programming in Rosa Parks Circle--a public park--rather than private venues, because we want this programming to be open to all. It's our hope that we can share this public space with other members of the community in a respectful manner

Politics does not have to enter everything in our lives, please allow people to enjoy life without having to worry about politics all the time.
