The Nebraska Cornhuskers honored their late punter, Sam Foltz, on Saturday in the game against Fresno State.  Foltz, who would have been a senior at Nebraska this fall, died in a car crash in Wisconsin in July along with former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler, where they were attending a weekend kicking camp in Wisconsin.

A few minutes into the game, the Huskers lined up for their first punt  with no punter in the backfield, and let the clock run out.  Then Fresno State refused the penalty out of respect.

The Foltz family traveled to be at the game, and while they were there, burglars allegedly targeted his family's home.

Thieves took off with about $1,400 worth of items after targeting the family of Sam Foltz while they were in Lincoln for a memorial ceremony dedicated to the Nebraska punter killed in a car accident this summer.
