Legislators in Michigan are going after Daylight Saving. House Republican Pete Lucido of Shelby Township and House Democrat Jeff Irwin of Ann Arbor want to do away with the twice yearly, time shift. They say daylight savings is a failed experiment that promotes more car crashes, less productivity and more crankiness. The proposal from the legislators would set Michigan on Standard time, year-round. Clocks "spring forward" one hour, Sunday morning at 2 AM.
