With some freezing rain mixed in, rain showers were moving into the Battle Creek and southwest Michigan region on Wednesday morning. With temperatures above freezing, icing was not apparent in the region.

The National Weather Service forecast for Battle Creek backed off on a projected high in the upper 50's today, instead opting for a high in the upper 40's, with rain ending by early afternoon. Wednesday appears to be the warmest day this week, with Thursday's high expected to be in the 40's - and only mid-30's for highs on Friday and Saturday.
