The Michigan State Police are looking for leads after three people apparently overdosed on synthetic marijuana.  In Branch County, Two brothers in their 20’s had to be treated after they OD’d on the chemicals Sunday, one remaining in critical condition, and a third man on Monday also had to be treated.

Synthetic Marijuana, also known as Spice or K-2, uses a mixture of chemicals to simulate the high real pot gives, but brings along with it dangerous side effects of high blood pressure, seizures, and possibly death.

Spice was available in many convenience stores in Michigan before Governor Snyder signed a law in 2012, making possessing or selling it a felony.

The State Police are looking for where exactly people are obtaining it.
