The City of Battle Creek has announced several roads in the Lamora Park and Urbandale areas that will be resurfaced in town over the next two weeks.

The milling and repaving projects are set to begin Friday, August 17th with weather permitting the work between 7am and 7pm. The streets will be open to vehicles and pedestrians, but you will not be allowed to park in the street. The City reminds residents that live in the affected areas to plan accordingly and be alert of changes in traffic flow and intermittent disruptions and closures.

The roads include North Mason, North Woodlawn, Broadway and Sigel from West Michigan Avenue to Kellogg Street, North Cedar from West Michigan to West Spaulding, and West Spaulding from North Mason to Bedford Road.

The project is expected to be completed Friday, August 31st. The lines on the map below represent the roads affected by the repaving project.
