Expansion plans at the Kellogg Community College Regional Manufacturing and Technology Center on Hill Brady Road are being realized with a groundbreaking Friday. RMTC director Tom Longman tells The Richard Piet Show an 8400-square foot expansion will allow for new equipment and greater opportunities for students.

According to a news release, the project is funded by a contribution of $1,675,000 from the Battle Creek Tax Increment Finance Authority and approximately $1,075,000 from KCC's voter-approved capital millage.
