The City of Battle Creek will get the help of some robots to check the conditions in the storm sewer and sanitation lines.

Starting December 1st, the city announced that RedZone Robotics will have crews working throughout the month to have robotics cameras making their way through the lines with access from the city’s manholes.

The crews will just take a sample of nearly every street in town. Drivers are being asked to navigate around the traffic cones if they are out, with the crews being in the area for roughly 10 minutes.
