Safe Water App Gets An Update

An app for Flint residents, showing them where to get assistance during the city’s lead-tainted water crisis has had an update. The Associated Press reports that Empower Flint offers a checklist of things people can do to protect themselves, their families and pets. Michigan State University helped develop the app and says that recent updates include more news. Other changes include expanded Medicaid information and updated water-distribution site information.
