Saint Philip Cruises Past Union City in H/S Hoops Friday Night

The Saint Philip Fighting Tigers started 2014 on a positive note with a 65-42 win over the visiting Union City Chargers Friday night to remain undefeated on the season.

The Fighting Tigers led 15-8 at the end of the first period and never looked back. Isaac Cloward led Saint Phil’s scoring with 15-points, shooting 8-for-10 at the free throw line, five rebounds and three steals. Dreyson English delivered 13-points and three steals, while Hunter Haley and Tyler Hubbard-Neil each added 10-points.  Earlier in the evening, the Lady Fighting Tigers picked up a 41-31win.

Saint Philip’s record improves to 6-and-0 while Union City drops to 1-and-4.
