Santa and Mrs. Claus will return to host the Christmas dinner at God's Kitchen - Battle Creek on Monday, December 21st. Dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. at First Congregational Church, 145 Capital Avenue NE. The menu will consist of baked chicken, ham, steak, cheesy broccoli, mashed potatoes, dinner rolls, pies (apple, dutch apple, pecan, pumpkin and sweet potato), and punch.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will give away toys to all children that participate at the event.

The Wattles Park Trailblazers 4-H Club is the title sponsor for the Christmas dinner. This is their fourth consecutive year as an event sponsor. Other sponsors include: Meijer, Plumbers and Pipefitters UL#333, Republic Services, Sam's Club and Toys for Tots

In addition to the dinner, a fundraiser will be held for God's Kitchen - Battle Creek. Sebastian, a 6'4" teddy bear, is looking for an adopted home. Santa Claus will officiate at the adoption ceremony and select a loving home for the bear. The cost to register for his adoption is $5. God's Kitchen - Battle Creek is a 501(c)(3), church-owned soup kitchen.
