I didn't hate Lions' Coach Jim Schwartz.  I liked his fiery qualities.  I liked his youth.  I thought he understood the game pretty well.  I think the players worked hard for him, but I'm not so sure they worked smart.   I think Schwartz  made a lot of rookie mistakes, and look how that translated to the guys on the field.   When a talented team shoots themselves in the foot as often as Detroit does, you have to look at the head coach.

So he's gone.  What do they need?  An offensive-minded guy?  A disciplinarian?  A wise old coach who knows how to win?  A young guy with an eye to the future?  You tell me.
