Scrap Tire Collection today in Battle Creek

If you have a few old car tires piled around your place, today is the day to get rid of them free of charge. 

The tire collection is open to City of Battle Creek residents ONLY who need to dispose of unwanted passenger vehicle tires.  The collection will take place from 4 -7 p.m. today (Monday, Oct. 8th).    It will end early if the trailer fills. There will be no early drop-offs for this event. This will be held at the city’s Department of Public Works, 150 S. Kendall St.

Only 10 tires per household, please.

You may NOT bring:

• Rims or tires with rims still on them.
• Oversized, semi, truck, or tractor tires

Hauling more than 10 tires requires a scrap tire hauling registration through the State of Michigan.
