The Michigan State Police is looking for a tractor-trailer that was involved in a hit-and-run along I-69 Tuesday morning.

Troopers were called to the northbound side near the N Drive North exit in Calhoun County's Convis Township around 11:30am. Investigators learned that the driver of the semi was making gestures at another semi driver before passing them on the left. The suspect driver then forced the other semi off the road and into a ditch with their trailer.

The driver of the crashed semi, a 39-year-old man from Otsego, was treated and released from Oaklawn Hospital. Authorities are now searching for a newer white Freightliner semi with passenger side damage to the trailer, possibly with red paint. The driver was described as a black man.

Call the Michigan State Police or Silent Observer with details on the case.
